Tire Pressure & Tread
When it comes to fuel economy and traction, the condition of your tires makes a big difference. If you ride your Harley-Davidson daily or very often, you should check the tire pressure using a gauge at home or at your local petrol station. Make sure it is within the recommended range, which will be listed in your owner’s manual, and adjust it as needed.
Over time, the tread on your tires will begin to wear down. Once they reach a certain tread depth level, they will need to be replaced. If you notice anything unusual, such as a bulge or hole, your tire may need to be replaced sooner. A technician can help you assess the condition of your tires and make any necessary adjustments.
